Agrikool is a 100% Black, youth-owned Agritech startup based in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. We provide access to market for farmers with a focus on small-scale and emerging farmers.
"Market access" to us is more than just connecting a farmer to a buyer. We also provide logistical support, assist the farmer to negotiate fair prices and conduct quality assurance through agronomic support to ensure that the farmer's products fetch the highest price.
HYBR is a pan African innovation firm and growth platform for impact scale-ups. Our purpose is to scale positive impact to bring real and lasting change for the African ecosystem. To fulfil our purpose we are pursuing three innovation missions: Circular Economy; Inclusion; and Sustainable Lives. Each mission is a critical response to a generational societal challenge.

PhathuR Holdings is a 100% youth-owned company that was registered in the year 2020 by two entrepreneurs who were impacted by the unprecedented covid-19. The founder’s members are from previously disadvantaged communities. The company was started mainly to create job opportunities for the communities thus reducing crime and the rate of unemployment in South Africa. The business also exists to uplift the standard of living of the communities and provinces. We work as a team to produce solutions that create opportunities for other entrepreneurs as well as community members. PhathuR Holdings
Hlabolohang Foundation it’s a non-profit organisation that consists of a group of young men and women combating the stigmatisation towards mental health issues in our community households. We provide counselling to young and old people on different aspects of life that causes decay in our daily lives such as; depression and anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), teenage pregnancy and teenage suicide. We work with the South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG) to facilitates and coordinates our community and schools outreach programs.
Biotikum (Pty) Ltd is a proudly South African spinout company of the University of Stellenbosch which was founded in 2020. Biotikum develops and produces microbial additives for the agricultural industry, including host-specific animal probiotics, microbial silage inoculants, and soil inoculants. The use of microbial additives is an environmentally friendly means to promote sustainable farming practices and improves profitability. In the future, Biotikum aims to provide large-scale microbial production services to various industries in Africa.
