The Botswana-based Institute of Entrepreneurial Development (IED) helps aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs to turn their business ideas into reality. Ngwana Enterprises

Ngwana Africa is a pre-seed start-up accelerator and innovation hub that seeks to build Africa's economic skills capacity by training the continent's next generation of bold, innovative problem-solvers and software developers.

The organisation's headquarters are in Francistown, Botswana.

 

Satoshicentre

Satoshicentre is a lab for learning new developments in the bitcoin space, including both second layer technologies. Its headquarters are in Gaborone, Botswana. 

The lab aims to: 

  • Mentor and train potential businesses and members of the fintech and blockchain community.
  • Build an African blockchain hub that will incubate fintech and blockchain-based start-ups.
  • Connect fintech and blockchain start-ups to investors, with the aim of securing funding.
  • Provide start-ups with access to funding in a stable environment where all stakeholders aspirations are fulfilled.

The FABlab Design and Technology Centre

The FABlab Design and Technology Centre is an advanced manufacturing, prototyping and design lab in Namibia. 

 

The Hub at Morija

The Hub at Morija, in Lesotho, is a creative technology lab that provides affordable access to computers, the internet, a library, and digital media training.

 

Namibia Business Innovation Institute

The Namibia Business Innovation Institute (NBII) formerly known as Namibia Business Innovation Centre (NBIC) is a national leader in research, entrepreneurship and innovation. NBII develops ways of taking your insight from idea to the marketplace by helping you to navigate the innovation process.

NBII operates through the four pillars of: Innovation Marketplace (I’M), Entrepreneurship and Incubation (E&I), Research and Development (R&D), and the RLabs Namibia project.

Akro

Akro is a company dedicated to helping entrepreneurs turn ideas into businesses.

It offers events, venture funding and consulting services, and it has a practical approach to entrepreneurship.

The team members have their own businesses and understand the challenges facing entrepreneurs and start-ups.

Akro services:

  • Co-working spaces in Cape Town: Salt River, City Centre and De Waterkant.
  • Girl Boss Hustle: a support channel that assists woman business owners, entrepreneurs and start-ups with the unique challenges they face as they grow.
  • Accelerator: a digital accelerator for tech

The Green Loop

The Green Loop is a business that specializes in composting organic waste.

Mjonaiza trading

Agri company Mjonaiza Trading is focused on farming, namely dairy farming, which produces and supplies milk to Orange Grove Dairies.
Produce and provide live broiler chickens to a local market through broiler farming.

Africa Progressive Solution

A company formed in 2014, a black-owned company currently pursuing consumer-based services using a tech-solution platform.

God.Focus.Disipline.Group

GFDGROUP is a company established in 2020 by Mandla Ndzamela, an Agronomic graduate. Its main focus is in infrastructure and agriculture, with services such as construction and maintenance, including supply and delivery.

Green Afrika Solutions

Green Afrika Solution is a start-up company focusing on the following; civil, building, and electrical construction, steel and brick manufacturing. 

Imperative Industries

Our app allows for remittance of money and foreign exchange of multiple currencies to individuals and businesses at low costs and faster delivery times. They will have storage for money in their main accounts and in their eWallets. 
At a lower cost and faster than legacy banks, we will be helping Africa, its individuals, and African businesses send and receive money in multiple currencies to employees, suppliers, exporters, and foreign clients.
