The organisation's headquarters are in Francistown, Botswana.

 

Satoshicentre

Satoshicentre is a lab for learning new developments in the bitcoin space, including both second layer technologies. Its headquarters are in Gaborone, Botswana. 

The lab aims to: 

  • Mentor and train potential businesses and members of the fintech and blockchain community.
  • Build an African blockchain hub that will incubate fintech and blockchain-based start-ups.
  • Connect fintech and blockchain start-ups to investors, with the aim of securing funding.

The FABlab Design and Technology Centre is an advanced manufacturing, prototyping and design lab in Namibia.

Namibia Business Innovation Institute

The Namibia Business Innovation Institute (NBII) formerly known as Namibia Business Innovation Centre (NBIC) is a national leader in research, entrepreneurship and innovation. NBII develops ways of taking your insight from idea to the marketplace by helping you to navigate the innovation process.

Akro is a company dedicated to helping entrepreneurs turn ideas into businesses.

It offers events, venture funding and consulting services, and it has a practical approach to entrepreneurship.

BioPark Business Incubator

Innovus

Innovus is a division of Stellenbosch University that is responsible for technology transfer, entrepreneurial support and development, and innovation.

The technology transfer office manages the university’s innovation and intellectual property portfolio and seeks protection for the portfolio, such as patenting, trademark, and design.

The team is also responsible for the management of the portfolio and the commercialisation of innovation through licensing and the formation of spin-out companies.
