The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Mozambique has officially launched the 2026 Call for Proposals under the Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme (GEF-SGP), inviting eligible organisations to submit innovative, community-driven environmental and climate action projects.

Objective

The Hinrich Foundation is inviting researchers, scholars, universities, think tanks, and policy institutions to submit proposals for its 2026 International Trade Research Program.

The programme supports high-quality research projects that advance understanding of global trade issues and contribute to evidence-based policy development. Selected researchers receive funding support, mentorship, editorial guidance, and publication opportunities through the Foundation’s research and policy platforms.

The Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI) has opened applications for the 2026 South African Women in Science Awards (SAWiSA).

These awards aim to recognise and celebrate outstanding women scientists and researchers, while also profiling them as role models for young women entering science, technology and innovation fields. 

The 2026 theme is:
