GFDGROUP is a company established in 2020 by Mandla Ndzamela, an Agronomic graduate. Its main focus is in infrastructure and agriculture, with services such as construction and maintenance, including supply and delivery.

As a sole proprietor in the agricultural sector, Farmers Lane Meat Supply raises livestock (broilers and pigs) for the purpose of producing and selling meat.

Our goal is to create muesli, thus we dry and can fruits and vegetables to preserve them.

GroSpace is an innovative e-commerce marketplace designed to bridge the gap between farmers and consumers. We empower farmers by providing easy access to a digital marketplace, enabling them to showcase and sell their products directly to customers.

Our platform allows farmers, whether in rural or urban areas, to effortlessly market their products using just a smartphone. Farmers can simply snap a photo of their products, upload it to GroSpace, set a price, and our dedicated market agents take care of the rest, ensuring the products reach the right buyers.

Agrikool is a 100% Black, youth-owned Agritech startup based in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. We provide access to market for farmers with a focus on small-scale and emerging farmers. 



"Market access" to us is more than just connecting a farmer to a buyer. We also provide logistical support, assist the farmer to negotiate fair prices and conduct quality assurance through agronomic support to ensure that the farmer's products fetch the highest price. 

The Nambu Group is a producer of insect proteins that offers premium ingredients for fish, pigs, and poultry feed. Creating feed from food waste would close the food production cycle.

Our facility is currently scaling up to process up to 100 tons of food and organic waste per month producing about 20 tons of protein-rich BSF based livestock feed

Named to honour the late Walter Sisulu, a much-admired leader of the struggle for democracy in South Africa, Walter Sisulu University (WSU) focuses on quality academic, technological and career-oriented programmes. Senovate has develeped a fruit-picking device called the Omniharvester. It allows pickers to harvest fruit from tall trees without having to elevate themselves. It comprises a long telescopic pole made from aluminium with a hook at the top that has scissor blades concealed in it. The user simply locates the fruit stalk by hooking it, he/she simply presses the lever at the bottom which forces the scissor blades together, therefore, cutting the fruitstalk.
