Smart Amalgamation is an Urban and Regional Planning professional, researcher, and development practitioner with growing experience in spatial planning, transport research, and national policy support in South Africa. I hold a bachelor’s degree in urban and Regional Planning from the University of Venda, where I developed a strong grounding in spatial development frameworks, land-use planning, policy analysis, and sustainable development.
