The Climate Resilience and Sustainability Research Fund (CReSus RF) aims to catalyse new and strengthen existing collaborations between researchers based at the University of Cambridge and universities or research institutes across Africa, with a strong focus on climate resilience and sustainability.

The CSIR Energy Industry Support Programme (EISP), funded through a partnership between CSIR and EWSETA, provides capacity building and technology incubation support to South African-owned SMMEs in the broader energy value chain. The initiative aims to equip enterprises with technical, business, and policy-related skills to participate meaningfully in renewable energy markets, while helping to fill critical skills gaps in the emerging energy industry and contributing to localisation, industrial development, and improved quality of life in South Africa.​

The Adaptation Fund is seeking an experienced consultant to develop an Innovation Directions document that will shape how the Fund approaches climate innovation within its next Medium-Term Strategy (provisionally 2027–2031). Since 2010, the Fund has committed over US$1,5 billion to climate adaptation and resilience, supporting more than 217 locally driven projects that benefit over 50 million people in vulnerable developing-country communities, and has played a pioneering role in Direct Access, locally led adaptation and its dedicated Innovation Facility.​
