Botswana Digital & Innovation Hub (BDIH) is an innovative, networked organisation that promotes technology, entrepreneurship and commercialisation. BDIH is under the Ministry of Tertiary Education Research Science and Technology, with a board of directors from diverse disciplines to perform fiduciary duties. BDIH is a company limited by guarantee to promote innovative ventures and has two subsidiaries: Botswana Innovation Hub Properties (BIHP) and Botswana Innovation Hub Investments (BIHI).

Since its inception in 2010, the Mapungubwe Institute for Strategic Reflection (MISTRA) has assumed a leading position in long-term, strategic and transdisciplinary research through generating research and creating platforms for engagement. The Nucleus of Teaching and  Research in Astronomy (NEPA) of the University of  State of  Amazonas, located in the North Region of Brazil.

NEPA's infrastructure is composed of two planetariums - one located in Manaus (capital of Amazonas state) and the other in Parintins (an island located 27 hours by boat from Manaus); one ST 40/400 PST coronal telescope and two Greika telescopes of 114mm diameter; A pedagogical laboratory (where educational materials are produced), a mini-auditorium; a library specialised in Astronomy and Astronautics; a remote station to monitor NEOs; a mini-laboratory
