The Royal Science and Technology Park (RST) is a public enterprise whose function is to foster the conception of inventions and facilitate their patenting and help knit various elements of the R&DRST  cluster together. RSTP provides a focal point for research, facilitate the links between research and industrial communities and stimulate the development of knowledge-based businesses through the incubation of techno-preneurship and high-tech enterprises.

RST serves to: 

• Stimulate and pursue research on the commercialization potential of indigenous plants and animals
• Enhance sustainable use
