The Indalopreneurs Just Transition Enterprise Support Programme (I-JTEP) is implemented as a part of the Strategic Partnership for the implementation of the Paris Agreement (SPIPA) programme.

Its central objective is to contribute efforts that enable South African businesses to develop innovations that facilitate a just transition,  and it seeks to support entrepreneurs within the Limpopo and Mpumalanga coal-dependent communities and value chains.

Endeavor South Africa is a mission-driven, global organization leading the high-impact entrepreneurship movement in the country. BioPark Business Incubator provides business development support to start-ups in the health (biopharmaceuticals, medical devices and diagnostics, indigenous knowledge-based nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals, and cosmetics), agriculture (agro-food-processing, bioprocessing, smart agriculture) in industrial biotechnology sectors. The support is provided in collaboration with the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (GDARD) and the eGoliBio Life Sciences Incubator.

OneBio is a Cape Town-based biotech early-stage investor and venture builder, turning life sciences into business. It is our mission to build businesses that are original and world changing. We partner with biotech entrepreneurs, providing investment capital and know-how to venture-build companies of the future.

We ideate with them, helping them define and redefine the problem they are solving. We support them along the journey, venture-building alongside them. We get our ‘hands dirty’, and provide expertise, networks, and grant and equity funding; helping them to realise their dreams.

WADER promotes the early adoption of promising technologies and accelerates innovation in the water sector by showcasing technologies that have gone through a credible assessment process.

Through a series of open calls for water technologies that are in the emerging, pre-commercial or newly commercialised stages of diffusion, innovative water and sanitation technologies will be identified, evaluated and showcased to interested parties like municipalities and industries.

Business France’s mandate is to help foster business relations between France and the countries in which the agency operates.

For example, Business France South Africa helps French companies find partners and clients in South Africa and neighbouring countries, and helps South African companies invest in France.

A public/private entity or entrepreneur looking to invest in France to partner with a French company or to acquire French technology is encouraged to get in touch with Business France’s South African office for advice and assistance.

Mazibuko Motor company is developing the vehicle for the Africa/Middle East, Europe, and Australian market. Our mission is to promote the transition to clean and sustainable mobility.

Eco-Connect is geared toward creating awareness among grassroots entrepreneurs of the dire need to conserve environmental resources and to provide them with turnkey eco-businesses, such as waterless car wash, waste collection, recycling electronic equipment, and electric freight service.

The eight-month programme has a two-pronged approach to developing both the entrepreneur and his business and includes personal development, business feasibility, marketing, sales, finance, technology, quality and business functions.

Winetech is an independent, non-profit, industry body that receives and manages the research statutory levies from the South African wine industry. Its core functions are research and development, knowledge transfer, innovation, and learning and development.
