The eKasiLabs programme is a micro innovation hub facility spread across the five economic corridors in Gauteng, South Africa where it fosters and cultivates a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in townships.

Its facilities are located in Mohlakeng, Sebokeng, Garankuwa, Soweto, Tembisa, Alexandra, Mamelodi, Kagiso, Kathorus and Mabopane.

The programme has an emphasis on innovative solutions that have the potential to impact different spheres of society, such as business, government, and civil societies.

eKasiLabs offers two development programmes in skills and enterprise development

The FABlab Design and Technology Centre is an advanced manufacturing, prototyping and design lab in Namibia. 

Satoshicentre is a lab for learning new developments in the bitcoin space, including both second layer technologies. Its headquarters are in Gaborone, Botswana. 

The lab aims to: 

• Mentor and train potential businesses and members of the fintech and blockchain community.
• Build an African blockchain hub that will incubate fintech and blockchain-based start-ups.
• Connect fintech and blockchain start-ups to investors, with the aim of securing funding.
• Provide start-ups with access to funding in a stable environment where all stakeholders aspirations are fulfilled.

Alpha and Omega MedTech is South Africa's Medical Device & Pharmaceutical Holding company that focuses on acquiring manufacturing and distribution companies of medical devices, therapeutics and IVD diagnostics, recognised as the World’s First China-Africa Healthcare Innovation Platform, with a model for partnerships. GroSpace is an innovative e-commerce marketplace designed to bridge the gap between farmers and consumers. We empower farmers by providing easy access to a digital marketplace, enabling them to showcase and sell their products directly to customers.

Our platform allows farmers, whether in rural or urban areas, to effortlessly market their products using just a smartphone. Farmers can simply snap a photo of their products, upload it to GroSpace, set a price, and our dedicated market agents take care of the rest, ensuring the products reach the right buyers.

earthcard has partnered with TreeAid, to plant trees which helps customers to contribute to a greener Africa with commissions received from their day-to-day spending.
