The majority of large-scale farmers export their produce to South Africa, whereas small-scale farmers' produce is mostly sold locally on the informal market, with little to no value addition. MoonSnacks, a Windhoek-based Snacks company, was founded in 2021. To make our delicious and crunchy peanut burger snacks, we added value to groundnut sourced locally from small farmers. Matavha Environmental is a youth-owned environmental and geological services company. Recently, the corporation expanded into agriculture, with a particular emphasis on chicken broilers, pigs, bananas, jackfruit cabbages, tomatoes, carrots, pumpkins, and so on. The farming is taking conducted on family land in the community of Tshakhuma.
