Applications open for Pre-Seed and Seed Fund!

The Raymond Ackerman Academy of Entrepreneurial Development Programme (RAA-ED) invites applications from Youth residing in South Africa and the SADC Countries.

THE OPPORTUNITY 

This six-month, full-time Online Programme is offered out of the Johannesburg Business School (JBS), a Faculty of the University of Johannesburg. The Vision of RAA-ED is to inspire and empower young people to become economically active and responsible citizens.

The Global Resilience Partnership (GRP) is launching the Resilience Innovation through Scaling Entrepreneurship (RISE) Urban Challenge to convert innovative urban ideas that are meeting resilience needs in informality contexts and scale them to sustainable ideas. The RISE Urban Challenge provides customised support to maximise each initiative’s potential for impact and aligns potential funders to these initiatives and drive attention to the urgent need for urban systems transformation.

Who can apply?

The uYilo e-Mobility Programme invites qualifying projects to submit proposals to the uYilo “Kick Start” fund. The fund was established to support electric mobility (e-Mobility)-related products or services development, by providing an agile mechanism to fund applied research and development to a maximum of:

(i) R500,000 (including VAT) per project for individual projects (one participant),

(ii) R1,000,000 (including VAT) per project for collaborative projects (multiple participants). For collaborative projects matched (50:50) co-funding is required.
