Timbali Technology Incubator
The Timbali Technology Incubator aims to spring board start-up entrepreneurs by addressing key constraints through an innovative incubation model. The Timbali Technology Incubator was established in 2003 in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga with the specific aim of spring boarding start-up entrepreneurs into the mainstream economy by addressing some of their key constraints through an innovative incubation model.
Timbali found a way to connect low skilled, young, inexperienced, unemployed rural people, (75% women), to sophisticated markets by means of our incubation product supply chain and enabling environment created in the Agri-Parks. Timbali’s reliable Prototype-System-Driven-Cluster-Model tips the balance in favour of the start-up SMME to increase the economy of scale and by using a system-dependent-business-format that enables the small agri-business to consistently deliver a predictable, high-quality product to the market. This enables the small business to consistently deliver a predictable, high quality product resulting in significant economic benefits.
