Overview of Business

Credent is a cutting-edge microlending solution specifically designed to cater to Namibian university students studying at recognized tertiary institutions. Our mission is to empower financially disadvantaged students by providing short-term micro-financing services. We understand the challenges students face in accessing funds for their basic tertiary needs, such as a lack of adequate food, transport money, family emergencies, textbooks, stationery, laptops, and accommodation.

Our innovative approach revolves around leveraging the government's student financial assistance fund (NSFAF) refunds as a basis for providing timely and accessible loans. Students can apply for a loan through our online platform or at one of our offices. Through our user-friendly online platform, students can apply for loans and track the status of their applications, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience. Our technology-driven verification process ensures authenticity and affordability, streamlining the approval process.

At Credent, we prioritize financial inclusivity and equal opportunities for education. Our competitive interest rates, regulated in accordance with the Usury Act, enable students to access funds responsibly. The loans are conveniently repaid through direct debit once the NSFAF refund is received, easing the financial burden on students.

We believe that education should not be hindered by financial constraints. With Credent, students can unlock their full potential, focusing on their academic pursuits without worrying about financial limitations. Our dedication to empowering students and supporting their educational journey positions us as a leading micro-lending solution in Namibia. Join us in transforming the landscape of student financing and fostering a brighter future for Namibian youth.
