What are the minimum requirements?

Final year students studying towards an IT, Digital & Data Analytics related qualification at a South African university. Recently graduated and current graduates with an IT, Digital & Data Analytics related qualification from a South African university.

Hardware Requirements

• Laptop and charger
• Computer peripheral (e.g., mouse, keyboard, external monitor - optional)
• Reliable internet connectivity will be provided by Old Mutual via their wi-fi
• Hackathon participants need to be available for the full in person Hackathon period i.e. 09:00 SAST on 14 August to 18:00 SAST on 16 August 2024.

The prizes to be won:

• After the Hackathon, get ready to claim a victory that will elevate your tech journey. You will get rewards that will inspire and empower you to reach new heights in the world of tech.
• The overall cash prize is R100 000, which will be split equally among the winning team members/group which will be made of 5 members per team.
• Participants of the Hackathon could also stand a chance to be employed at Old Mutual. This is subject to recruitment policies.
