Microbial Biological Control of Grapevine Pathogens

This technology comprises of a mixture of bacteria and yeast that inhibit the growth of grey rot, powdery mildew, and downy mildew, with different modes of action and grow optimally under different environmental conditions, which may offer a higher level of efficacy in field conditions compared to existing biological control agents. The group of microbes serve potentially as an environmentally friendly approach that has lower toxicity than known chemical pathogen control methods.
