Ithalethu Maintenance Holdings (Pty) Ltd is a maintenance and cleaning services company based in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape.
Core Services:
We specialize in contract cleaning, deep cleaning, hygiene services, building maintenance and grounds maintenance. Our services are currently operational on a contract basis. We provide daily cleaning, washroom hygiene solutions, building repairs and upkeep, and grass cutting and grounds keeping.
Target Customers:
Our primary target customers are municipalities, government departments, schools and clinics in the Eastern Cape, as well as private sector facilities requiring reliable maintenance and cleaning services.
Operational Status and Traction:
As a newly established business, we are currently in the start-up and growth phase. We are actively bidding for tenders, including recent submissions for municipal and healthcare facilities (e.g. Flagstaff CHC and other clinic maintenance tenders). We operate with a small local team and scale our workforce based on contracts secured, with a focus on creating jobs for local youth in Mdantsane and surrounding areas.
Value Proposition:
Our value lies in our local presence in Mdantsane, which enables rapid response times, reliable on-site service delivery and consistent maintenance standards. We are responsive, cost-effective and committed to local job creation. Clients benefit from a dedicated local team that understands community facilities and government service requirements.
Compliance and Certifications:
We are currently finalizing our key compliance registrations. Our SARS registration, BCCCI (Buffalo City Chamber) membership and COIDA (Compensation Fund) registration are in process and underway. We use quality hygiene consumables and cleaning chemicals that are sourced to meet SABS-aligned quality standards for hygiene and safety, and we follow industry best practices for cleaning and sanitation. We are committed to achieving full compliance as part of our growth plan.
Funding and Growth Plans:
We are seeking government funding and grant support to accelerate growth. The funding will be used to procure professional cleaning equipment, initial stock of cleaning materials and hygiene consumables, staff training in hygiene and safety standards, and working capital to support service delivery while awaiting contract payments. This will enable us to increase our service capacity, meet compliance requirements and secure larger contracts in municipalities and health facilities.
