iMbobo is a smart 4IR road safety non-profit initiative with a very simple mandate which is: to ensure that roadways are even and clear surfaces free of potholes.

iMbobo's vision is primarily to allow a smooth and seamless transition into the fourth industrial revolution (4IR) self-driving car technology whilst ensuring road networks remain safe and efficient for all users.

iMbobo's methodology is designed in such a way that it automatically notifies designated municipalities, ward councillors, relevant ministries, and other state road agencies, in real-time, of each and every pothole as and when they get reported particularly the ones that would be reported as possible claims against municipalities by some road users.
