Eureka seedless lemon - The world’s first truly seedless lemon!

The ARC-TSC developed the world’s first truly seedless lemon, the ‘Eureka™ SL lemon’, (protected by PBR no. 20043010), and has now developed a seedless Limoneira lemon (ARCCIT2086) which is similar to the Limoneira 8A lemon from which it is derived. However, where the Limoneira 8A lemon fruit had an average of 8 seeds per fruit the ARCCIT2086 is totally seedless. The new seedless lemon has excellent potential in the food service industry. They are a convenient alternative to seeded lemons in bars, restaurants and kitchens.
