Overview of Business

Dithapelo Group is a 100% black-owned, mission-driven organisation dedicated to architecting sustainable and equitable development across Africa. Rooted in the core African principles of Ubuntu (humanity towards others) and Harambee (pulling together), we serve as a strategic transformation partner to the public sector, particularly in education. Our primary objective is to bridge the gap between policy and implementation, ensuring that the transformative power of technology reaches every school, educator, and learner.

For our partners in the Department of Basic Education (DBE) and provincial departments like the Gauteng Department of Education (GDE), we offer more than just technology; we offer a partnership for transformation. We understand the systemic challenges and priorities outlined in national development frameworks and recent education reports - from infrastructure deficits to the urgent need for scalable teacher development.

Our model is designed to support and enhance these government-led initiatives, not replace them. Focusing on practical, localised, scalable, and pedagogically sound ICT integration, we help districts and schools maximise resources, empower their educators, and prepare their learners for a digital future. By integrating robust ICT solutions, providing evidence-based professional training, and fostering deep community partnerships, we position ourselves as a key ally in achieving the DBE's goals for digital learning and preparing our youth for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
