Intellectual Property

The CIPC Intellectual Property (IP) Youth Awards 2026 is a national platform designed to recognise and support young South African innovators, entrepreneurs, creators, and changemakers who are developing impactful ideas, technologies, and ventures.

Hosted by the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), the awards celebrate innovation, creativity, and the strategic use of intellectual property to build sustainable businesses and drive economic growth. The initiative encourages youth to protect their ideas through intellectual property and transform them into commercially viable solutions.
