Call for Proposals: The development and implementation of a C-Suite Women in Energy Empowerment Programme in South Africa

The project “Capacities for the Energy Transition” (CET) under the South African-German Energy Programme (SAGEN) invites service providers to submit proposals for the development of a C-Suite Women in Energy Empowerment Programme in South Africa.
This programme aims to address gender disparities in the energy sector by equipping women with the leadership skills, industry knowledge, and strategic insights necessary to drive transformation and innovation. It will focus on empowering women in decision-making roles to contribute effectively to South Africa’s just energy transition and sustainable energy future.
The selected bidder will design and deliver a comprehensive empowerment programme tailored for C-suite women executives in the energy sector. The initiative seeks to enhance leadership capacity, foster mentorship networks, and provide targeted training on key aspects of the energy transition and regulation.
Scope: Proposals should outline a structured approach, addressing leadership development, regulatory and policy knowledge, strategic decision-making, and mentorship opportunities. The programme content is to be developed in collaboration with SAGEN and relevant South African energy stakeholders.
GIZ cordially invites eligible and professional companies to participate in this tender.
