Call for Applications: Solar PV GreenCard Training

Join the programme aimed at upskilling 100 electricians through Solar PV GreenCard training, with a focus on empowering youth and women entrepreneurs in the green economy. Sponsored by ABSA and in partnership with SAPVIA and the National Business Initiative, this initiative seeks to expand opportunities for electricians across South Africa while aligning with national goals of sustainable energy and economic empowerment.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

• Must be a South African citizen.
• Previously disadvantaged individuals.
• Must be able to access training areas in Pretoria, Bloemfontein, Durban, Gqeberha, Cape Town, and Midrand.
• Must possess an Electrical Trade Test or Electrical Qualification/NQF4.
• Preference for:
  • Black youth and women.
  • Self-employed individuals or those working in township businesses.
  • College graduates.
