Botswana Digital & Innovation Hub
Botswana Digital & Innovation Hub (BDIH) is an innovative, networked organisation that promotes technology, entrepreneurship and commercialisation. BDIH is under the Ministry of Tertiary Education Research Science and Technology, with a board of directors from diverse disciplines to perform fiduciary duties. BDIH is a company limited by guarantee to promote innovative ventures and has two subsidiaries: Botswana Innovation Hub Properties (BIHP) and Botswana Innovation Hub Investments (BIHI).
BDIH is incorporated as a company to develop and manage Botswana’s first Science and Technology Park to achieve the following:
- Contribute to the country’s economic development and competitiveness.
- Create new scientific, technological, and indigenous knowledge-based business opportunities.
- Foster entrepreneurship and technology transfer to developing start-up companies and add value to existing companies.
