Agrikool is a 100% Black, youth-owned Agritech startup based in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. We provide access to market for farmers with a focus on small-scale and emerging farmers. 



"Market access" to us is more than just connecting a farmer to a buyer. We also provide logistical support, assist the farmer to negotiate fair prices and conduct quality assurance through agronomic support to ensure that the farmer's products fetch the highest price. 

Biotikum (Pty) Ltd is a proudly South African spinout company of the University of Stellenbosch which was founded in 2020.  Biotikum develops and produces microbial additives for the agricultural industry, including host-specific animal probiotics, microbial silage inoculants, and soil inoculants.  The use of microbial additives is an environmentally friendly means to promote sustainable farming practices and improves profitability.  In the future, Biotikum aims to provide large-scale microbial production services to various industries in Africa.

Established in 2012, Khepri is an award-winning bioconversion company based in South Africa.

Khepri Biosciences was born out of the need to address the environmental effects of eutrophication of river systems caused by agricultural runoff. This pollution threatens the purity of our water systems in South Africa – a country with limited water resources.
