A Walker to Restore Mobility

The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) has developed an invention that aids people with limited ability to walk by using the person’s own movement capability to help improve and restore mobility. It has been designed as a walker. This technology is suited for use on difficult surface areas due to the risk of falls that result from the use of passive walking aids. Its use is thus not restricted to rehabilitation practices, but can be used for day-to-day activities as well.
