Innovation Capital
To date (2024-2025 Financial year), the Innovation Fund has disbursed R917.2 million to its implementing partners, through 10 Venture Capital Funds. On direct funds investment model, the fund also committed to 27Four and Anza Capital through two Venture Capital Funds.

Innovation Investments
Biocode Technologies researches, incubates and commercialises inflammation-centred medical technologies. They concentrate specifically on diagnostic solutions that contribute to the management and improvement of human health and wellbeing. Their expanding brand family currently comprises Biocheck, which focuses on rapid testing, and Biolab, which focuses on diagnostic methodologies.

Entersekt is a transaction authentication and digital security provider for large financial institutions.
The product solutions can be categorized into three categories: Customer registration and identification; Customer authentication solutions and Payment solutions.
CapeBio Technologies intends to develop a state-of-the-art AI platform to mine metagenomic data for novel antimicrobial peptide genes. This is a machine-learning and data-science-driven application that allows for better and novel detection of medically important genes that can be used to fight diseases such as cancer and tuberculosis.
