Innovation Capital
To date (2024-2025 Financial year), the Innovation Fund has disbursed R917.2 million to its implementing partners, through 10 Venture Capital Funds. On direct funds investment model, the fund also committed to 27Four and Anza Capital through two Venture Capital Funds.

Bambili Energy is a South African black-owned and managed clean energy solution provider. It is committed to providing clean and flexible energy solutions. It holds interest in Hyplat, which produces MEAs, the most critial and valuable element in a fuel cell.

The CSIR has developed a multi-purpose modular pod that can be integrated with a fast jet aircraft for a variety of uses in training, test and evolution, as well as prototype payload development. The Inundu pod was designed to provide a protected environment for prototypes or unqualified payloads against the harsh airborne environment.
