Stellenbosch University (SU) hosts a diverse portfolio of innovative technologies developed by leading researchers across multiple faculties. These technologies span sectors such as renewable energy, biotechnology, agriculture, engineering, health sciences, materials science, and digital solutions. However, as research teams and research trends progress some technologies become obsolete but may hold value to specific stakeholders. The list below shows legacy technologies in the SU portfolio which have not been commercialised and for which we have limited information. If you have interest in any technology below we will be able to share limited information with you.
