BluoVerda Deutschland e.V. is inviting applications for an online course focused on agroforestry, climate resilience and sustainable landscapes.

The course explores how agroforestry approaches can contribute to more resilient, biodiverse and sustainable landscapes, while providing participants with practical perspectives for applying these approaches in different contexts.

The programme combines theoretical e-learning modules with five live Zoom sessions and is delivered in English.

What Participants Will Learn

The course will cover:

• Principles of agroforestry and its contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
• The role of agroforestry in biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services.
• Integrated landscape and restoration approaches for sustainable and climate-resilient landscapes.
• Economic opportunities, sustainable livelihoods and market potential associated with agroforestry.
• The role of environmental ethics and participatory approaches in agroforestry and land management.
• How agroforestry can contribute to ecological, social and economic resilience.

Course Structure

Participants will access an e-learning system featuring theoretical modules, complemented by five live Zoom sessions during the course.

Eligibility

Based on the programme's responses to applicant questions, participants need to:

• Be a DAAD scholarship holder or DAAD alumnus/alumna.
• Be able to comply with at least 85% of the programme activities.

The programme has also confirmed that participants who complete the required requirements can receive a certificate.
