Namibia Business Innovation Institute (NBII) formerly known as Namibia Business Innovation Centre (NBIC) is a national leader in research, entrepreneurship and innovation. NBII develops ways in getting your insight from idea to the marketplace by helping you to navigate the innovation process.
NBII operates through four pillars namely: Innovation Marketplace (I’M), Entrepreneurship and Incubation (E&I), Research and Development (R&D) as well as the RLabs Namibia project.
NBII proactively stimulates and supports innovation, entrepreneurship and social upliftment through exploring, researching and developing ideas, bridging the technological divide as well as generating and incubating sustainable businesses for a globally competitive economy and inclusive society.
The Namibia Business Innovation Institute offers the following services:
- Innovation Marketplace (I’M), features mostly public events that stimulate idea creation and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Entrepreneurship & Incubation (E&I), supports young entrepreneurs with innovative ideas to kick-start their business via training and mentoring.
- Research & Development (R&D), advances product and process innovation as well as social media development.
