Bongi Bees is a regional beekeeping and honey production business that is also involved in pollination and the development of various products using honey, herbs and wax. Under the leadership of Lulu Letlape , Bongi Bees is responsible for the education of communities about bees, beekeeping and the value of bees for the environment. Through hands on beekeeping  training programs and outreach, Bongi Bees supports local ecosystems while fostering sustainable agriculture.  Current business model for Bongi Bees includes: Beekeeping operations and hive management; honey production and product development, pollination, community outreach, honey tours, training and bee removals.
