Overview of Business

Greenpact Africa is an impact-first recycle tech and agritech company building a circular economy across Nigeria. The company addresses plastic pollution, bio waste mismanagement, and youth unemployment by turning waste into valuable economic resources.

Greenpact operates a technology-enabled marketplace that incentivises households, businesses, and communities to collect and supply plastic and agricultural waste. Recovered plastics are sold to recycling and manufacturing partners, while bio waste is converted into organic fertilisers that support climate-smart agriculture and reduce farmers’ input costs.

The business model combines commercial viability with strong social impact through job creation, women-led community programs, and partnerships with governments, NGOs, and private sector players. Greenpact has recycled one tonne of plastic, onboarded 50 offtakers, launched women empowerment programs across four LGAs, and received national and international recognition, including support from Cleantech Hub Nigeria and selection in the MTN Pachipanda Top 100.

Greenpact Africa’s vision is to scale recycling and sustainable agriculture solutions across Africa, create thousands of green jobs, reduce climate risks, and build resilient communities through a thriving circular economy.
