Gondwana Consulting Services (Pty) Ltd (GCS) is a South African business based in Thabazimbi, providing integrated risk management, workforce management, ICT, cybersecurity, security automation and project consulting services. We help organisations improve operational visibility, strengthen governance and automate manual processes.

Through our technology division, GCS Tech, we are developing BioTrack, an integrated workforce, access and security intelligence platform. BioTrack is intended to connect employee records, access-control systems, camera events, time and attendance, and HR and payroll information within one management environment.

Our development focus is the use of locally hosted artificial intelligence to analyse operational events, identify exceptions, link supporting evidence and generate management reports for human review. The intended innovation lies in connecting information across separate systems and translating it into actionable workforce and security insights.

BioTrack is currently at an early development and demonstration stage. We are seeking seed funding to develop and validate a working prototype, establish a controlled hardware test environment, test system integrations and demonstrate its technical and commercial feasibility. Our longer-term objective is to commercialise a locally developed platform serving mining, industrial and other organisations with complex workforce and security requirements.
