Chrysalis Capital (Pty) Ltd is a financial provider based in South Africa.

Chrysalis Capital was founded in July 2008 as a niche Investment House that specialises in private sector credit. We believe that this market presents significant opportunities for lenders outside of the banking environment, especially given the effect that the 2008 credit crunch and consequent introduction of stricter banking regulations has had on the banking world. We have the ability to provide senior or mezzanine finance for corporate or property transactions, with a definite focus on companies and property investors that will thrive or be resilient in the prevailing economic environment.

Our value proposition to our clients is that we offer a personal relationship with experienced and savvy financiers, certainty with regard to the availability of capital and a high level of professionalism and efficiency.

Our value proposition to investors is that we aim to consistently generate alpha by using our banking experience and networks to source, package and manage credit opportunities that are not available to the average investor. Our objective is to generate stable and positive returns in excess of what cash offers, and to ensure that the correlation of our returns to equity and bond markets remain negligible.
