Annual Innovation & Entrepreneurship Seminar 2026

The Annual Innovation & Entrepreneurship Seminar 2026 will take place on 12 March 2026 at Maluti TVET College (Kwetlisong Campus) in Phuthaditjhaba. Hosted in collaboration with the Regional Innovation Support Programme (RISP), Maluti TVET College, and Virtue Business Solutions, the seminar is designed to strengthen regional innovation systems and promote inclusive economic growth.

Under the theme “Igniting Regional Innovation for Inclusive Economic Growth,” the seminar aims to connect industry, academia, entrepreneurs, students, and innovation support institutions to accelerate enterprise development and enhance collaboration within the regional innovation ecosystem.

The seminar will provide a practical and engagement-driven platform featuring:

• A keynote address focused on regional innovation development
• An industry and TVET collaboration panel discussion
• Innovation and startup exhibitions showcasing emerging ventures
• Masterclasses on entrepreneurship and digital skills development
• A student and youth pitch showcase
• Information sessions on funding and incubation opportunities
• The official launch of the 2026 RINP Programme Calendar

The event seeks to empower students, emerging entrepreneurs, and regional innovators by increasing awareness of available support mechanisms, strengthening partnerships between education and industry, and promoting innovation-led enterprise development at the local and regional level.
