Alpha Code

AlphaCode is a club for financial services entrepreneurs, which is supported by a physical workspace and a virtual platform. Alpha Code is seeking to create a next-generation financial services eco-system by bringing together entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, industry experts and thought leaders to connect, share knowledge, and ultimately reshape the financial services industry. Powered by Rand Merchant Investment Holdings (RMI) and Rand Merchant Bank Holdings (RMBH); strategic managers of a multi-billion dollar financial services portfolio which includes FirstRand, Discovery, OUTsurance, MMI Holdings and Hastings plc.

Alpha Code programmes 

Incubation 

• The AlphaCode Incubate programme is designed to identify, partner with and grow innovative entrepreneurs. Startups on the programme receive support through funding, guidance from mentors and advisory experts, access to our co-working space and opportunities to apply to further early-stage investment from AlphaCode
• The first phase of the programme is the 12-week Jump-Start Programme which focuses on helping your startup establish problem-solution fit and explores the viability of your business model.
• After demo day, the startups selected will join the 6-month Step-Up Programme aimed at helping the startup achieve product-market fit, feasibility and financial viability.

Accelerate 

• AlphaCode Accelerate is a transformative 2-year programme run in partnership with scale-up accelerator 10XE that is focused on helping you achieve your scaling goals. If you’re selected, AlphaCode Accelerate, powered by 10xE will deliver remarkable value to you, your team and your business. The programme focuses on the kinds of major challenges you’ll face over the next 12 to 24 months. We will surround you with established and highly regarded business leaders, tools and knowledge with the mission of shifting you from a 3X trajectory to a 10X trajectory.
