African Centre for Youth, Gender and Environment (AFRICYEG) is a social enterprise operating in the refugee settlement of Kyaka II in particular Kyegegwa District. It was established to address socio-economic and environmental problems affecting the poor and vulnerable youths in the sub region. AFRICYEG’s main objectives are to improve the livelihood of the young people and women by empowering them utilize their full potential towards holistic development through promotion of positive attitude towards work, provision of life skills training, development of market linkages for interdependence and development.
