The African University of Science and Technology (AUST) is a private, pan-African, co-educational research university located in Abuja, Nigeria.

Established in 2007 by the Nelson Mandela Institution (NMI), AUST was created to address the severe knowledge and skills deficit in sub-Saharan Africa, with the goal of boosting research and innovation across the continent.
