Summary

The Africa Energy Indaba 2026 is a high-level, in‑person energy week that brings together CEOs, ministers, investors, project developers, financiers, utilities, regulators and technology providers to drive dialogue, deal‑making and collaboration across Africa’s energy landscape. Hosted at the CTICC from 3–5 March 2026, the event combines a multi‑track conference, large‑scale exhibition, B2B matchmaking and specialist side events focused on topics such as natural gas, IPPs and PPAs, EVs, transmission and distribution, nuclear, women in energy and renewable energy investment.

Recognised as the continent’s flagship energy platform, the Indaba addresses critical issues of energy security, access, transition and infrastructure, with a focus on mobilising capital and partnerships for bankable projects. Previous editions have attracted over 1 600 conference delegates, more than 4 000 exhibition visitors, 170+ expert speakers and thousands of B2B meetings, underlining its role as a deal‑driven marketplace for African energy opportunities. For 2026, the event is officially endorsed by South Africa’s Minister of Electricity and Energy, Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, reaffirming its strategic importance for regional energy collaboration and investment.

Across the three days, participants can attend the main Africa Energy Indaba Conference (3–4 March), the Africa Energy Indaba Exhibition (3–5 March), and a suite of official side events including the Africa Gas Forum, IPP & PPA Conference, EV Forum & Expo, Women in Energy Forum, Energy Projects Dealroom, T&D Africa Conference & Expo, Nuclear Forum and related technical visits. All sessions and activities are fully in‑person with no online streaming, ensuring concentrated, face‑to‑face engagement and networking.
