9th SADC Industrialisation Week 2026 – Call for Exhibitors

The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) invites South African exporters, manufacturers and industrial businesses to participate in the 9th SADC Industrialisation Week (SIW 2026), taking place from 27–31 July 2026 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

Organised as a flagship regional industrial development platform, SIW 2026 will be held alongside the 46th SADC Heads of State and Government Summit and will bring together governments, investors, development finance institutions, policymakers, industry leaders, SMEs, academia and strategic partners from across the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.

Under the theme:

"Resilient, Sustainable and Inclusive Industrialisation through Infrastructure Development, Agricultural and Critical Minerals Transformation in Pursuit of a Just World,"

the event aims to strengthen regional value chains, promote industrial competitiveness, mobilise investment and accelerate regional economic integration.

Participants will have opportunities to:

• Showcase products, technologies and services to regional and international stakeholders.
• Engage in high-level policy and investment discussions.
• Participate in business-to-business (B2B) networking sessions.
• Explore regional trade and export opportunities.
• Connect with investors, procurement decision-makers and development partners.
• Participate in sector-focused engagements aligned with SADC industrialisation priorities.

The dtic will showcase businesses operating within:

• Mineral beneficiation
• Agro-processing
• Pharmaceuticals
• Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)
• Infrastructure and logistics
• Light manufacturing
• Automotive sector
• Financial services

Qualifying entities may receive support for exhibition space, freight forwarding, travel assistance and subsistence allowances in accordance with EMIA guidelines.
