eCoDigital Limited is a Tanzanian-born social enterprise headquartered at the University of Dar es Salaam's College of Information and Communication Technologies, aiming to innovate at the intersection of technology, nature, and sustainability. The organization harnesses digital innovation, data science, and bio-material engineering to address environmental challenges, fostering a regenerative African economy where waste is transformed into wealth and marginalized communities are empowered through inclusive green jobs. eCoDigital's vision is a world where technology and nature collaborate to restore ecosystems and combat climate change. Its mission focuses on developing digital and bio-based solutions that promote circular economies, climate resilience, and equitable development across Africa. Key initiatives include EcoPlastic, a mobile platform promoting a circular economy for plastics; SuperFiber, a carbon-negative biomass crop; and SuperBlock, a sustainable building material.
