AmaliTech AWS Associate Certification Training Programme for Ghanaian STEM Graduates (Free 15-Week Online Training)
The AmaliTech AWS Associate Certification Training Programme is a fully funded, 15‑week online training initiative designed to help Ghanaian STEM graduates and early‑career professionals build in‑demand cloud computing skills and earn globally recognised AWS Associate certifications. The programme targets candidates who already hold the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification and want to advance to the AWS Solutions Architect - Associate and AWS Developer Associate levels, positioning them for competitive roles in the global tech and cloud industry.
Delivered entirely online, the programme combines live, instructor‑led sessions with structured self‑study and lab practice, providing a practical, hands‑on learning experience that mirrors real‑world cloud environments. Participants receive mentorship and guidance from experienced trainers, access to labs and practice environments, and a clearly defined pathway to sit for and pass the AWS Associate exams. On successful certification, learners also receive a cash reward, further incentivising completion and performance.
The training is intensive but flexible enough to be balanced alongside early‑career or job‑seeking commitments. Learners are expected to commit at least 4 hours per week to live online classes and an additional 6-10 hours per week to independent study and lab work. This structure allows participants to deeply consolidate their theoretical understanding while applying concepts through hands‑on labs, projects and exam preparation. The programme also places emphasis on networking and community‑building, connecting trainees with peers, AmaliTech’s wider tech community, and potential employers.
Eligibility is specifically targeted at Ghanaian STEM talent ready to progress in cloud computing. An ideal candidate must be a Ghanaian tertiary STEM graduate, already certified as an AWS Cloud Practitioner, and passionate about pursuing a career in cloud computing. Applicants must have reliable access to a computer or laptop with a webcam and microphone, plus a stable internet connection, and be able to commit to the required weekly time for both live instruction and self‑study. This ensures that those admitted can fully participate and benefit from the training.
For the 2026 intake, applications are open for two cohorts: January–May 2026 and May–September 2026, giving candidates flexibility in scheduling their learning journey. The application process is straightforward: applicants click the “Apply Now” link, complete the online enrolment form, undergo screening and validation (which may include a phone interview), complete a learner assessment or AWS general quiz sent via email, and then receive an email notification of the final decision. The application deadline for this intake is 31 December 2025, and because places are limited, early, well‑prepared applications are encouraged.
By the end of the programme, participants will have strengthened their cloud architecture and development skills, prepared for and (where successful) achieved AWS Associate‑level certifications, and expanded their professional network within Ghana’s and the broader global cloud ecosystem. For many graduates, this serves as a launchpad into roles such as cloud engineer, solutions architect, DevOps engineer or cloud developer, significantly improving their employability and long‑term career prospects.
